Orjan Nilsen / DJ Governor

    Hier gehts um den jungen Norweger Ørjan Nilsen, besser bekannt als DJ Governor bzw. nur unter Orjan. Geboren am 14.06.1982.
    Entdeckt wurde der "Shooting Star" dieses Jahres von Danjo & Styles. Diese spielten Armin van Buuren sein Werk Red Woods vor. Umgehend landete dieser Geniestreich in A State Of Trance. Bald folgte die Veröffentlichung zusammen mit Blue Woods von Danjo & Styles auf Captivating. Die Karriere ist geebnet, Orjan - Arctic Globe/ Prison Break auf Intuition wird ein noch größerer Erfolg.
    Auch als DJ ist er aktiv und lieferte bereits zahlreiche Gastsets in verschiedenen Webradios. Aktuell erschienen in diesen Tagen, sein Remix zu Galen Behr & Hydroid's Carabella auf Yakuza.

    Gefällt mir gut sein Sound. Die Scheibe mit Octagen "Lost once" war echt voll nach meinem Geschmack. Auch sein neuer Track "Sequentia" (auf der EP "Vinyl Sampler 1" mit Carl B. "Just a thought") gefällt mir gut. Wird bestimmt noch einiges interessantes von ihm kommen. Die Skandinaven scheinen guten Sound zu machen.

    Orjan Nilsen. Für mich der größte vor ein paar Jahren.
    Sein Album "In My Opinion" war einfach grandios.

    Er wird teilweise ziemlich angegangen auf Fascebook nachdem er jetzt seinen Track "The Drop EP" released hat.

    Alright I'll write a comment even tho I shouldn't even bother:
    The Late Anthem, Fair Game.. Ring any bells...? I released them both earlier this year. So when you ask me "Where is the trance??" or "Where's the old Orjan??" Go a couple of months back, then you go a couple more, and already, you have two of the "old Orjan" as you put it. And what did you expect this release to be?? It's called " The DROP E.P."!! I love that style too! A lot actually! The first drop track I made was called "Black Mamba" then I made "Down & Dirty". Guess what year that was? 2007! Don't be fooled by the BPM in those tracks, the recipy, or formula if you want, is EXACTLY the same as in these tracks, just a different sound from a different time! I should know, I made them. And I'll end this.. lets call it a discussion, just for the hell of it, by saying this:
    I'm dedicating my life to make music(Keyword here is music, no genre specified). I make music however I see fit, which is my prerogative as a producer, which sad to say, not many are anymore.
    Of course not all of it will be to everyone's liking, but I like it, and I enjoyed making it! I honestly can't believe you guys are listing a ton of my music, many of which has been released within the past year, asking "Where's Orjan?"! Well I'll tell you where Ørjan is.. He's in the studio making whatever he damn well pleases As it should be!
    Don't worry, I'm never abandoning trance, not ever! Which I have proven to you, year, after year, after year.. So don't worry trance fans, I'm never leaving, I'm not looking for pastures new, but I am exploring and travelling through music like any producer should! I would not be able to make tracks like "Violetta", "Mafioso", "Between The Rays" if that was the only thing I was making. I would simply not be inspired enough to make something new.. Like "The Late Anthem" which so many of you liked.
