    The name Mike Dierickx might not instantly ring a bell. But once we start talking about M.I.K.E., Push, Plastic Boy,
    Absolute or one of the other 60 aliases he guised his productions under, you know we’re talking about one of the best producers the trance scene has to offer. Some of the tracks by Belgian producer/DJ M.I.K.E. have grown out to legendary classics, like ‘Universal Nation’ and ‘Strange World’ under his Push guise. With almost 15 years of producing and DJ experience behind him, 6 albums in his discography and an unstoppable drive to bring his sounds to the masses, the new Trance World, Volume 6, has found a worthy follow-up mixer for John O’Callaghan, Sean Tyas, Signum, Robert Nickson and Aly&Fila.


    M.I.K.E. selected some of his personal favourites and blended them into a this flowing mix. ‘Trance World Volume 6’ contains the freshest releases trance has to offer, by producers like Jaytech, Rex Mundi, Armin van Buuren, Rank 1, Signalrunners, Sebastian Brandt and many more. For the album, M.I.K.E. made a special anthem track, ‘Trance World’, making this album extra special. Expect a 2 hour journey into all different corners of trance, from the essential deep proggy stuff to uplifting tech-trance at its best.

    Ui, das solltest Du aber mal machen...... der Mann hat ein fantastisches Händchen für Produktionen sowie fürs Mixen :D Ist auf jeden Fall der richtige Weg ;-)

    ...soweit, so gut. Ich habe sie mir jetzt mal angehört. Sie ist ganz "nett". Versteht mich bitte nicht falsch. Ich weiss auch, das "nett" eigentlich gleichbedeutend ist mit.... Mir persönlich fehlt der "Flow". Es scheint so, als wollte er alle bedienen. Auch die Übergänge, im Bezug auf die Track-Auswahl. Von der Trance World Serie gefällt mir Robert Nickson bis jetzt am besten. Schaun' mer mal, ich werde sie mir nun ja auch noch öfter im Auto und zum Laufen anhören...

    ..., es tut mir Leid, ich bin weiterhin nicht so begeistert. Nichtsdestotrotz habe ich Favorites, die da wären Andy Blueman mit "Everlasting" (Wahnsinns-Track), DJ Eco "American Blues" und Rex Mundi mit "Passage in Time". Obwohl ich dazu sagen muss, dass mir von Rex Mundi momentan ziemlich alles gefällt. Auch seine Tracks auf der "Toronto 09" von Marcus Schulz.

    Allerdings....Er steckt hinter etlichen Produkltionen die sehr bedeutend in der Rave & Trancegeschichte waren ( häufig auf Bonzai ). Oft waren Yves Deruyter und er Produktionspartner und er steckt auch hinter Hymnen wie Push " Universal Nation ".

    Ich hab die Doppel-CD heute bei eBay ersteigert. Bin gespannt wie's klingt, obwohl ich die Tracks kenne und die gar nicht mehr akutell sind. Mir macht das nichts aus, weil ich einige davon noch immer gern höre. :yes:
    Sobald sie eingetroffen ist, kann ich mehr sagen. :)
