Mac Zimms / Part of Mac & Mac

Der mit bürgerlichem Namen am 2. Janurar 1970 in Hoogezand geborenen Willem Jelle Faber, ist den meisten eher unter seinem Alias Mac Zimms bekannt aber auch durch viele andere Projekte. In den Jahren 1987 und 1991 nahm er an den niederländischen DJ Mix Meisterschaften teil, beide Male schaffte er es bi in die Finalrunde. Inzwischen ist er als DJ und Produzent weltweit bekannt.

Ich bin um 2002 / 2003 auf ihn aufmerksam geworden und finde sein sehr monotonen und harten Sounds sehr cool. Insgesamt ist Mac Zimms, das kann man an all seinen Produktionen sehen, recht vielseitig. In den letzten Jahren beschränkt er sich aber auf die harten TechTrance und Techno Tracks. 2004 oder 2005 war er auch auf der Trance Energy, leider habe ich seinen Gig aber verpaßt da ich es zu spät gesehen habe.
Hoffe das ich auch in Zukunft noch viel von ihm höre.
