    hmmmm...
    ausser trance? sehr sehr sehr viel anderes... aus dem elektronischen bereich natürlich house, breakbeat, d&b, techno und ambient. dann auch mal einfach was so am radio läuft, egal ob nun black/pop/rock etc. zudem besuche ich au gerne konzerte (eric clapton, roger waters, rolling stones, moby, massive attack etc...) :D

    airwave, lolo, l-vee und wie auch immer hats einfach sensationell drauf und seine scheiben sind ein definitives 'haben-muss' für mich... 8)

    naja, würde jetzt auch mal sagen dass 200km nix sind! :D

    da haben wir schon ganz andere sachen gemacht... brunnen - zürich (oxa) - lausanne (mad club) - zürich (oxa again) - brunnen...
    alles in allem auch 600km für beide wege... ;)

    p.s. knapp daneben mäse, denn zürich-tessin: sind (1 weg) knapp 200km... (in den seven club)

  • Timeok "Seven floating ways"

    nach der Katalognummer Above014 (Sparkling Temptation) wird schon bald der Nachfolger erscheinen...

    NEW Timeok release confirmed as ABOVE016!
    Swiss based DJ,Producer and all round good guy Stefan Ziegler (Timeok) has hand delivered his latest production to us here in London. Then smoked and drunk with Tony Burt to the early hours....on a school night!!

    Anyway, once again co-produced by top producer Andy Prinz the track has now been confirmed as Above the Sky Record's 16th release (ABOVE016). The title of this superb production is 'Seven Floating Ways'. Why, we don't know?!

    His debut release 'Sparkling Temptaion' was a hit with Armin through to Lange and is still sitting pretty in DJ charts now. If you missed it, then check it on the site now.

    Remix duties this time have been handed to Paul Moelands aka Octagen & Re:Locate who has recently tasted success with his stunning releases on Galactive and Captivated Sounds.

    The release date has not yet been confirmed but stay tuned....

    was ich bei einem sehr kurzen besuch im hardstylefloor an der 'Alarm' Party im OXA (mit Marcel Woods im Techno-Floor - der grund warum ich auch an die party ging) von phillipp rochard gehört habe:

    sunbeam - outside world (hardstyle remake)
    rotterdam termination source - poing (hardstyle remake)
    4 non blondes - ??? (kenn den titel gerade nicht) aber logischerweise auch im hardstyle mix...
    ....

    tönt sehr innovativ, oder? :D

    lohnt sich auf jeden fall das ding zu kaufen! mike shiver hat sehr gute arbeit geleistet.

    jup. die kenn ich doch und hab die auch schon etwas länger... ;) ist ein weiteres produkt aus der küche von dave202 & phil green.
    ich weiss zwar nicht welche versionen es schlussendlich auf die platte geschafft haben, aber es weiss zu gefallen und kommt auch beim publikum sehr gut an.

    January 2004: Prevading Call - Sweet Destiny (ABOVE015)

    Another exciting release is on the horizons! Above the Sky have called upon Andreas Schmidt from Venom Records to supply us with a new trance project exclusively for Above the Sky Records. His recent releases as Ace's Delight have once again made the trance scene wake up and take notice of one of Germany's longest serving and best trance producers. His attention to detail and use of sublime piano breaks are second to none and this has the potential to be our biggest release to date

    The full release will be spread over 2 discs and include the phenomenal original mix which has not left the CD player in our office for months. On the flipside we have commissioned The Informers to add their touches to this soaring hook and melodic piano. The results look set to once again show the trance community that these two young Robert Gitelman prodigees have arrived.

    The 2nd disc includes another genre shaping B.Beach Breaks remix. Sitting somewhere between The Chemical Brothers, Prodigy & Hybrid with a touch of trance in the breakdown.
