Gerade läuft "Only Love" - Gänsehaut pur. Diese Stimme, diese Lyrics. Hammer Teil

Lief gestern in einem durch, sehr schön zu hören. Keine riesen Überraschungen dabei, aber trotzdem um einiges besser, was sonst im Bereich Trance zu hören ist. Meiner Meinung nach. Besonders der Flow und Aufbau der ersten CD.

Einzig und allein "Thing Called Love" im Arksun Filmscape Mix hätte man sich verkneifen können. Bin der Stimme von Herrn Bedford doch leicht überdrüssig.

John Digweed will release his latest mix, Live In Montreal, via Bedrock Records on February 26th.

The eighth edition in the series will be the biggest yet, spanning six discs compared to the usual three or four. It was recorded live on October 25th, 2015, at Stereo, a club known for its afterhours parties and marathon sets. (Digweed actually played for 11 hours that night.) In among the 81 featured tracks, there are efforts from Sei A, Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons, Agoria and Adam Beyer, as well as three Recondite cuts.

Speaking to RA earlier this week, Digweed reflected back over his set. "It's hard to pinpoint one particular highlight as I was loving every part of the night with the energy from the build-up and the reaction I was getting from the floor," he says. "Playing Eagles & Butterflies' rework of DK8's 'Murder Was The Bass' was a real moment as the place exploded. It's really important on nights like this that you pace yourself so you don't give the crowd everything too early; you always want them to keep wanting more. I remember looking at my watch around 9 AM and thinking I have not really started banging it yet, but the place was going nuts and over the next four hours the energy in the room hit another level. It's a real pleasure to play on that soundsystem for that long."

Dann poste ich mal die nächste CD, die mir wirklich gut gefällt. Alles schön bunt und über den Tellerrand der Trance Musik hinaus. Treibend, techy, deep und solide gemixt. Teil echt schäbige Vocals, die dadurch aber sehr cool rüberkommen.

Ursprünglich als 2te CD zur Special Edition von Moby's Album "Hotel" erschienen, wird diese Musik nun als ganzes Album wieder veröffentlicht. Bekannte Tracks, neue Songs und besondere Extended Versions Release Datum ist der 29.01.2016 - sowohl als CD als auch als 3er Vinyl Edition (180 Gramm).

so to that end we're re-releasing 'hotel ambient'.

i'm also doing my first ever 'ambient world tour', which will consist of 2 shows, both of which are pretty close to my house.

the first show will be on december 16th at the masonic temple at the hollywood forever cemetery in los angeles (tickets available on friday). and the second show will be a fundraiser on december 21st for the integratron (which was designed by aliens) in joshua tree, california (sold out).

i think we're re-releasing 'hotel ambient' on december 16th, or thereabouts. and yes, we're releasing it on vinyl as well as cd and itunes and etc.

Freue mich wirklich sehr auf das Album, und werde es mir als Vinyl zulegen. Bin gespannt wie nen Flitzebogen, kann es kaum erwarten!

N'abend zusammen,

bin gerade mehr oder weniger durch Zufall bei Spotify auf das Album von Roland Klinkenberg gestoßen. Der Titel passt jedenfalls sehr zur gebotenen Musik. Eine sehr runde Mischung aus ambienten Klängen, technoiden & deepen Sounds. Der Aufbau und die Reihenfolge der Tracks gefällt wirklich sehr und ist meiner Meinung nach gut gewählt Erschienen bereits im Juni 2015 auf dem von Edwin Oosterwal & Joris Voorn betriebenen Lable Green.

Bin gerade bei "Gotta be love". Bisher hat das Album alles was es braucht, um kommerziell erfolgreich zu sein. Wird sich in Deutschland mit ein Bisschen Support von den großen Radiosendern sicherlich gut bis sehr gut verkaufen.

Mit Trance hat das ganze allerdings überhaupt nichts mehr zu tun, was ja genau betrachtet jetzt nicht die größte Überraschung ist

Gebe trotzdem 2/6 weil es teilweise doch ganz "nett" ist.

Ein weiterer Klassiker, der absolut niemals alt wird und an dem ich mich nicht satt hören kann. Egal ob der Rapid Eye R.E.mix oder der Iberia's Main Room Mix. Knallt & die Melodie geht sofort in's Ohr. Gänsehaut den Rücken rauf und wieder runter. Das kann nur Trance <3

Wieder so ein Track, der mich tief berührt und Gänsehaut erzeugt, wenn ich nur den ersten Ton von Armin's Remix höre. Bei den Vocals ist es dann erfahrungsgemäß komplett vorbei bei mir. Das erste "Time is a healer", dann folgt die Wahnsinns Melo und sofort ist diese Energie da. Wahnsinn!

Mein absoluter Favorit ist ja DEMS "Never Have, Never Will"...

Bin fast geneigt, die Wertung von 5 auf 6 Punkte zu erhöhen

Manchmal ist es doch wirklich von Vorteil ältere CDs auf dem Regal zu kramen. Wie in diesem Fall. Schöne Melodie, die mich sehr nachdenklich stimmt, im positiven Sinne. Zurückhaltender und einprägsam Track.

Läuft gerade bei mir. Total in Vergessenheit geraten,... sehr schöner Track im Original Mix. Break ist fantastisch, grooved so smooth und catchy daher.

The compilation is inspired by our weekly radio show of the same name, which is co-hosted by Jacob and Tom, as well as Johan Vilborg, Jayeson Andel, Vintage & Morelli, & Terry Da Libra. Carefully selected to represent the sound of Silk Royal Showcase radio, the songs included in the compilation range from the more pensive and melancholic shades of progressive to the more club-oriented, peak-hour material we tend to play at the end of our radio show mixes and live sets. Many of the artists are seasoned veterans of the SRS compilation series; there are also numerous first-time contributors to this year's compilation, many of whom have asserted themselves as leading talents in trance & progressive in just the past year.
