Ferry Corsten

Ferry Corsten ist meiner Meinung nach einer der besten Produzenten, man schaue sich nur mal seine ganzen Projekte wie System F., Ayu, Subsola, Gouryella etc. an. Man kann sagen, fast alles was er anpackt wird zu Gold. Einfach genial

jo man da kann ich dir nur zustimmen, für mich ist ferry corsten der beste dj ... seitdem ich den ferry corsten remix von ligaya gehört habe bin ich seiner musik verfallen. für mich ist er der trance gott!

Stimmt, das ist auch meiner Meinung nach der Beste Mix von Ligaya.

Ohne Zweifel ist Ferry Corsten wohl einer der besten Trance-Produzenten überhaupt! Solange wie er schon im Geschäft ist mit seinen ganzen Projekten und Pseudonymen, hat er sich auf jeden Fall schon einen festen Platz in der Trance-"Hall of fame" gesichert. Wobei ich sagen muss, das ich Ferry Corsten in erster Linie für seine Remix-Arbeit bewundere. Auch aus den mittelmäßigsten Platte kann er noch einen phantastischen Track herauszaubern. Ich denke, sein typischer Trance-Stil ist unverkennbar und diente quasi als Blaupause für einige andere Produzenten die sich dadurch inspirieren ließen.

Seine Eigenproduktionen sind ebenfalls der Oberhammer. Ich erinnere da nur mal an die ganzen System F Hymnen wie "Out of the blue" oder dieses epische "Exhale"! Oder natürlich auch die Zusammenarbeit mit DJ Tiesto >> Gouryella - ich find, das war einfach ein Dreamteam! Und das Ayumi Hamasaki nun auch für die Trance-Welt ein Begriff ist natürlich auch sein Verdienst. Ohne Ferry Corsten hätte es wohl niemals so eine Welle an Ayu-Trance-Remixen gegeben. Interessant ist auch zu sehen, daß sich selbst ein Ferry Corsten nach so langer Zeit auch noch weiterentwickeln kann und noch weiterhin wird. Das hat ja auch schon "Punk" gezeigt, ebenso wie die letzten System-F Releases.

Zu Ferry Corsten als DJ kann ich nicht viel sagen, da ich bisher nur ein paar DJ-Sets von ihm gehört habe. Von daher ist für mich FC eher der Trance-Produzenten-Gott! =)

hm,finde einige corsten sachen auch ziemlich geil,aber sein neuestes release "rock your body" gefällt mir gar nicht... *bah*
don't know why...ist einfach so... wie findet ihrs denn?

Ich bin damals durch seinen Remix von Bimmel & Bommels Flying to the Moon bzw. Mobys Why does my Heart feel so bad aufmerksam geworden!

Hmm, Rock your Body kenne ich noch gar nicht... @ Teh'leth : Ups, eigentlich meinte ich auch Produzent, als DJ ist er aber auch ziemlich gut.

Die Rock your Body ist nicht wirklich so der Hit! Vielleicht sind unsere Erwartung an diesen Produzenten-"Gott" auch zu hoch???

finde die scheibe absolut genial und voller power. war eine der ersten platten,die ich haben musste

Genauso mitreißend. Wenn die Melodie kommt packts mich immer wieder...

Ferry Corsten - Indigo
kommt zwar nicht an Punk ran, aber der ewig lange Break ist cool!

ferry macht auf jeden fall gute musik und seine mixe sind auch zu 95% sehr gelungen..

höre mir in den letzten tagen immer und immer wieder "Ferry Corsten - Global DJ Broadcast (13.01.2003)" an..

genial ohne ende, vor allem so ab der mitte... mit ligaya und far from in love.. wirklich, absolut gut..

dann noch die anlage aufdrehen und man hat ein richtig schönes trance feeling...

Seid Jahren zähle ich schon Out of the Blue und Tenshi zu den zeitlosen Klassikern, die ich immer wieder gerne höre. Auch Barbers Adagio for Strings ist ein Sahnehäubchen.

Überzeugt hat er mich aber, als ich ihn mal live erleben durfte.

Finde Ferry Corsten auch sehr gut, gerade Gouryella ist für mich das beste, was es gibt:

Out of the Blue ist natürlich auch ein Meisterwerk.



Ich hab aber mal ne Frage: Ich kenne von Tenshi nämlich zwei Versionen, bei denen die Hauptmelodie sich unterscheidet.
Die eine Version kenne ich von dem PC-Spiel Fifa 2002 (hat übrigens eine sehr guten Soundtrack, unter anderem noch DJ Tiesto, BT...), vielleicht kennt das einer und weiß, wie dieser Remix heißt?

Von Gouryella "Tenshi" kenn ich die beiden Version die auf der Original-Release auf Tsunami drauf sind:

- Transa Remix

Darüberhinaus gibt's da noch die deutsche Release auf Kontor, mit Remixen von u.a. Scooter *argh*:

Die FIFA-Compilation kenn ich persönlich nicht, aber ich denke, daß das einer der oben genannten Remixe ist.
